Netflix Household

What is a Netflix Household — and what does TVCodeNow do?

Netflix uses Household checks to associate a TV with the account's main viewing location. TVCodeNow does not change Netflix's Household rules; it helps the account receive supported verification messages more conveniently.

What Netflix means by a Household

Netflix describes a Household as devices connected to the internet at the main place where you watch Netflix. A TV used outside that context can trigger a request to update or confirm the Household.

Where TVCodeNow helps

TVCodeNow monitors the forwarding address connected to your account for supported Netflix verification messages. Sign-in codes can appear in the dashboard, private shared view and paired TVs. Supported Household confirmations can be handled by Household automation when enabled.

What TVCodeNow does not do

TVCodeNow does not bypass Netflix account-sharing, Household or travel policies. Any change required by Netflix remains a decision between Netflix and the account owner.

TVCodeNow is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix or Amazon.
